  • Online Therapy

Zoom. Webex. Microsoft Teams. Google Meet. This is the new normal.

    Why telehealth?

Because sometimes you are running late, are traveling, are busy with classes, are a stay-at-home or working parent, or just didn’t feel like putting on (work) pants. Or maybe being in your home helps you relax and open up. Or, really, because that’s what keeps you and me (and our loved ones) safe right now.

What does this mean for you?

Not only do you have to trust therapists to have the experience and training necessary to guide you in obtaining the change you seek in your life, but also that they know how to competently provide therapy using live video-conferencing and can protect (and help you protect) your health information.

While you might have been (or still are) adjusting to the web-conferenced life, I have been providing telehealth therapy since 2019 (pre-pandemic). I have more than 20 hours of training in the provision of telehealth therapy and have completed Person Centered Tech’s Telemental Health Certification Program.

Telehealth may not be your preferred therapy delivery method, but you don’t need to settle for a therapist in the same boat.
